VITEEE 2022
VITEEE is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology. It is a common entrance exam conducted for taking admission in various institutes of VIT such as VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will need to qualify for this exam in order to get enrolled in the different B. Tech courses are offered by the VIT institute.
Now, the VITEEE entrance exam also consists of a newly included aptitude test. Prior to that, the entrance exam consists of subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English. For biology stream programs, biology is included in the place of mathematics. The questions asked in the VITEEE entrance exam are mainly based on NCERT textbooks. Candidates can also prepare from the NCERT textbooks for qualifying for this entrance exam.
The English section of the exam contains comprehensive answering and reading, grammar correction, and pronunciation-based questions. The new aptitude section is included in this exam because of the feedback from various academic schools and industries. The VIT institute has released the date of entrance examination on its official website. The exam will be conducted from 30- June-2022 to 6-July-2022. Candidates can now fill out the form till 30-May-2022. This exam is conducted through online and computer-based tests. This exam contains mainly 125 questions and the total duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The question paper contains five sections. Candidates also have to appear for one of the toe groups of the VITEEE entrance exam which are PCMEA and PCBEA. It is mandatory for the candidates to obtain valid scores in the VITEEE entrance exam in order to get enrolled in the colleges that are participants of VITEEE.

VITEEE 2022 Registration
The exam conducting authorities have released the application form on the official website. Candidates who are willing to appear for the VITEEE entrance exam are needed to fill out the application form before the last date. The last date for filling out the VIT application form is on 30-May-2022. Before applying for this entrance exam, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. The application form will not be accepted by the authorities after the last date. While filling out the VITEEE application form, candidates will also have to select the exam centre from the given options.

Step 1-Registration
Firstly, candidates will need to register online by visiting the official website of the institute. While registering, candidates will need to fill in all the necessary details like:

Step 2- Fill out the Application Form
After successfully registering, candidates will need to fill out the application form by login in using their email id and password. Candidates will also have to register certain personal and academic details.

After filling out the form, candidates will need to pay the required application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee online mode by using a debit card, credit card, net banking, etc. For further reference, candidates should also keep the transaction id.
Step 4- Upload the Documents

Step 5- Submit the Application Form

VITEEE 2022 Eligibility criteria

Subject Eligibility
The candidates who have chosen subjects like chemistry, mathematics, physics, English, and aptitude will be considered eligible for B.Tech programs
Candidates who have selected subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and aptitude will be considered eligible only for biology stream programs such as B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics), B.Tech Bio-engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics.
Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Candidates and NRI
- Candidates should have selected English as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates must have completed schooling with compulsory subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, or biotechnology
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in class 12th or any other equivalent exam.
- Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Candidates
- Candidates must have studied in an English medium school
- Candidates must have studied subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. as mandatory subjects
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in class 12th or any other equivalent exam.
VITEEE 2022Eligibility Criteria for admission
Candidates who have successfully qualified VITEEE 2022 entrance exam will be considered eligible for participating in the seat allotment and counseling session. On the basis of merit rank obtained, candidates will be called for participation in VITEEE counseling. During the counseling process, candidates will need to select their preferred B.Tech course and campus from the given options. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of availability of seats, merit list, and the choices made by them.
Year of Passing
Candidates must have qualified for the entrance exam or they should be appearing for it in the current year.
Eligible Marks for Qualifying Exam
The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in the qualifying exam.
Eligibility Criteria on the Basis of Age
Candidates must be born on or after 1-July-2000 will be able to appear for the exam
Candidates should carry their original documents as proof of their age during counseling and admission. The candidate who fails to bring the original proof of their age will be considered disqualified.
Eligibility Criteria on the Basis of Nationality
Foreign candidates can apply only directly through the foreign category
Resident and non-resident Indians will be eligible to apply
Candidates who belong from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and North Eastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Sikkim, Mizoram, etc. will have to provide a certificate to prove their nativity or community at the time of counseling or admission.
