UPSC 2023 Notification and Exam Dates
UPSC IAS notification for the year 2023 has been released on February 1, 2023. The last date to apply for the exam was 21/02/2023. As per the notification released by the authority of the exam, UPSC IAS 2023 Exam will be conducted on May 28, 2023. This will be the prelims exam and the mains exam will be conducted in the month of September 2023. The selection process for the UPSC IAS 2023 mainly comprises three stages that are prelims exam, the mains exam and the personal interview.
UPSC Eligibility Criteria
As per the official Notification prescribed by the exam authority, the candidates should check the complete eligibility criteria for appearing on UPSC IAS its official website. However, the basic eligibility criterion to apply for the exam is graduation. UPSC Age Criteria
The age limit to apply for the UPSC IAS must be calculated as of August 1, 2023. For general category candidates, the minimum age is 21 and the maximum age is 32 years.

Nationality
To apply for the UPSC exam, candidates must have citizenship of the country India. However, the citizen of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees and Migrated from Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Tanzania, and Zaire are also eligible to apply for the UPSC IAS 2023.
Required Qualification
To apply for India’s largest exam and toughest exam, you don’t need a big certificate or degree. The UPSC exam does not want many certificates from the aspirants as per officials, any graduate can appear in this most appeared exam in India. Candidates who have any graduation level degree from any government-recognized institute or UGC-approved institute are eligible to appear for UPSC IAS.
UPSC does not want any branch in the graduation of the candidates as any stream candidates are eligible to apply for UPSC. Those who are appearing for their final year of graduation are also suitable to apply for UPSC. However, their result of graduation should be declared before the exam of UPSC.
