UP BED JEE 2022 Overview

UP BED or Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Exam is a state-level exam that is conducted every year in order to get admission to B.Ed. course in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

This exam is known as the largest and one of the highly competitive entrance exams in the state of Uttar Pradesh. UP BED JEE exam is conducted by the government of the Uttar Pradesh and accepted by a wide range of colleges in Uttar Pradesh for admission to B.Ed. every year the state government gives the responsibility to conduct the UP B.Ed. JEE to various colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh.  

UP BED Entrance Exam 2022 Application Form is available from May 16 to May 20, 2022, candidates can fill in the application form. The UPBED JEE will be held on July 6, 2022, and it is an offline paper or a pen-paper test. Every year around 5 lakh aspirants appear for this exam in order to get admission to the top B.Ed. institutions.

This year, the UP BED JEE exam will be conducted by Bareilly University. The official notification for UP BED 2022 has been released by the authority on the official website. 

UPBED 2022 application form can be filled out by uploading the required documents and by paying the application fee. It is a pen-paper test which comprises 2 papers that is Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam is conducted in English as well as in Hindi also.

• Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC)/scheduled tribe (ST) category should have a graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized university. However, there is no criteria for minimum marks for SC/ST candidates.

UP BED Exam Pattern

Type of questions- At UP BED JEE 2022, there will be an objective type or multiple choice questions in both papers.

Total number of questions- UPBED JEE 2022 will have 100 objective-type of questions in each paper.  

Marking Scheme – In the UP BED JEE paper 2022, each question will carry two marks, while for an incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted from your score.

Mode of Exam- UP BED JEE 2022 will be completely held as an offline mode or a pen-paper test.     

Exam Sections: There will be two sections in each paper.

UP BEd JEE 2022 Exam Pattern for Paper 1

UP BEd JEE 2022 exam pattern has been released by the exam authority. It is almost the same as the previous paper of UP BEd JEE 2021 question paper which consisted of two sections – General Knowledge and Language.

In section B of UP BED JEE, candidates have the option to choose either English or Hindi language. Both the sections of the paper contain a total of 50 questions each with a total of 200 marks. Candidates need to complete the UP BED JEE exam in a duration of 3 hours.

Section A- General Knowledge– This section contains a total of 50 questions in each paper and the total marks will be 100.

Section B- Language (English/Hindi) – This section contain a total of 50 questions in each paper and the total marks will be 100.

UP BEd Exam Pattern for Paper 2

As similar to paper 1 of UP BED JEE 2021, the second question paper also will also have sections that contain General Aptitude Test and Subject Knowledge questions.

In the section of Subject Knowledge, Candidates will have the option of choosing either Arts, Commerce, Science, or Agriculture at the time of filling out the application form.

Both the sections of Paper 2 consist of 100 questions for a total of 200 marks. You will have 3 hours to complete the exam.     

Section A- General Knowledge- This section contains a total of 50 questions in each paper and the total marks will be 100. 

Section B- Subject Knowledge (Arts/Science/Commerce/ Agriculture) – This section contain a total of 50 questions in each paper and the total marks will be 100.  

UP BED Marking Scheme

Each question in the UP BED JEE exam carries a weightage of 2 marks, to put in other words we can say that you will be granted 2 marks for every correct answer in the UP BED JEE 2022.

There is also a provision for negative marking in the exam for wrong answers. For every incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted from your score.   

• Total Marks for the 100 questions:  200 for each paper
• Marks For Each Question: 2 marks for the right answer
• Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted as a penalty from the score for every incorrect answer.

The Question Paper will be in 2 parts and each part carries 2 sections.

UP BED JEE 2022 Exam conducting body, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohil Khand University has not released the notification for the Exam centres for UP BED JEE 2022 yet. In the year 2021, the exam was held in 75 cities/districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Hence it is supposed to the cities for the exam centre will be same as the last year. The registration has been started on 18 April 2022. After completing the registration for UP BED JEE 2022, candidates will need to choose 3 cities for the exam centres from the available options. They will be allotted the exam centre in any of the chosen cities. That allotted city will be mentioned in their Admit card as the exam centre.

UP BED Exam

After completing the application procedure and filing the preference cities it is time to prepare for your exam. Before going to the allotted exam centre, you must have all the required details. If the exam centre is not so far from your location we suggest you visit it once before the exam.

If the exam centre city is too far from your current location, you should reach there at least a day before the exam. You must check whether the details mentioned on your admit card are correct or if there are some errors. • Do not carry any extra luggage or bag at the BED exam centre.

• As the exam is an offline-pen paper test, you must carry two black Ballpoint pens.
• There will be a provision for negative marking for the wrong answer so we suggest you not answer the questions for which you are not pretty sure. You need to be more careful while attempting any question.’

Step 1: Online Registration
