SRMJEE 2022

SRMJEE stands for SRM Joint Entrance Exam. This exam is conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology also known as SRMIST. The institute conducts this exam mainly every for the purpose of enrolling eligible candidates in the various B. Tech programs are offered by the institute. SRMJEE is considered a university-level computer-based exam that is conducted through online mode.

This exam acts as a common entrance exam for all the institutes and universities of SRM Group. Some of the universities and institutes of SRM Group are located in NCR-Ghaziabad, Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Rampur Part- Vadapalani, Amravati, Haryana, and Sikkim. This exam is conducted mainly twice a year in three phases. After successfully qualifying for this exam candidates will be able to get admission to any of the universities or institutes belonging to the SRM Group.

SRMJEE 2022

This entrance exam opens the doors for aspiring engineers for achieving their desired education and career. This exam is highly competitive; preparation is required in order to qualify for this exam. The duration of this exam is mainly 2 hours and 30 minutes. It includes approximately 125 multiple-choice questions. The question paper contains five sections which include English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and aptitude.

There will be no negative marking in this exam and one mark will be awarded to the candidates for each correct answer. After qualifying for this exam successfully, candidates can get enrolled in courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Design, B.Arch, M.Arch, M.Design, etc.  Although SRMJEE 2022 phase 1 has been conducted on 24-January-2022 candidates can still apply for phase 2 and phase 3.

SRMJEE 2022 Registration

For appearing in the SRMJEE entrance exam, firstly candidates will need to register offline or online by visiting the official website. At the time of registration, candidates will need to fill in all the necessary details and they will need to pay the required application fee. In online mode, the SRM University released the application form on 16-November. For registration, candidates will need to fill out the application form within the specified duration.

  • The application form for SRMJEE has been released on November 16 2021 in online mode
  • The last date to apply for phase 2 is 20-April-2022
  • Last date to apply for phase 3 is 20-June-2022

Steps for Registration

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps for registration through online mode.

Step 1- Registration

Firstly, candidates will need to register by filling in all the required details like name, mobile number, email address, etc. After successfully registering, candidates will receive an email on the registered email address. Registration is to be done on the official website.

Step 2- Verifying Email

After receiving the email, candidates will need to validate the link they have received in their email in order to activate the account.

Step 3- Fill in all the Details

Candidates will need to log in with their credentials and they will have to fill out the application form by filling in all the necessary details. Apart from filling in all the details, candidates will need to select at least three exam centres from the given options. Candidates will also need to provide their photographs and signatures.

Step 4- Filling the Required Academic Details

For further procedures, candidates will need to fill in all the necessary academic details without any inconsistency.

Step 5- Pay the Application Fee

After filling in all the details and agreeing to the declaration, candidates will need to submit their application form. In order to submit the application form, candidates will need to pay the required application fee. Application fees can be paid through both online and offline modes.

Online Mode

Candidates can pay the application fee online mode. Payment can be done through credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.

Offline Mode

Candidates can pay the application fee offline mode by making payment through DD- Demand Draft.

Step 6- Upload the Documents

For final submission, candidates will need to upload the scanned images of their signature and photograph according to the specification provided by the authorities.

SRMJEE 2022 Eligibility criteria

SRMJEE is a university-level entrance exam; it is conducted in order to identify the eligible candidates for enrollment in the engineering courses offered by SRM Group of Institutes. The eligibility criteria for SRMJEE 2022 have been released by the authorities on the official website. The eligibility criteria are basically considered as a set of parameters that the candidates have to fulfill in order to get into their desired course. The eligibility criteria include parameters like nationality, qualifying exam, age, etc. The eligibility criteria for SMRJEE 2022 are given below:

Nationality

For being eligible for the SRMJEE entrance exam, candidates should be Indian residents, non-Indian residents, and OCI and PIO cardholders.

Qualifying Exam

In order to appear in this exam, candidates must have qualified class 12th or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregates with subjects like physics, mathematics, chemistry, etc. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th examination in the academic year can also apply for this entrance exam.

Age Limit

Candidates should have completed 16 years of age and they must have been born on or between 1-July-2001 to 1-July-2006.

Direct Admission

Direct admission and scholarships are provided to the rank holders of both central and state boards in the country by the institute. Direct admission and scholarships are also provided to top 1000 rank holders of IIT JEE and sportspeople at national and international levels.

Mandatory Subjects

Candidates must have pursued 12th with compulsory subjects like PCM or PCB.

Eligibility Criteria on the Basis of Aggregate Scores

In order to get enrolled at the desired institute included in the SRM group of institutes, candidates will need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria by obtaining valid scores. Some of the valid scores and institutes are given below:
