CET Delhi- Delhi Common Entrance Test

It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Department of Training and Technical Education in Delhi. This entrance exam is conducted for offering admissions to various certificate and diploma courses in fields like engineering and technology, pharmacy, etc. The exam is conducted once a year and its duration are mainly 2 hours and 30 minutes. The medium of this entrance exam is Hindi and English.

The paper consists of all multiple choice questions of 600 marks. As per its marking scheme, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. The exam consists of questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English. To appear for this entrance exam, it is necessary for the students to fulfill certain eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

  • Candidates will need to complete 10th from the CBSE board or any equivalent exam board with a minimum of 35% aggregate with science, mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates should be mentally sound and physically fit and they will also need to show a physical fitness certificate at the time of counseling.
HP PAT
HP PAT- Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test

It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by HP Takniki Shiksha Board. This entrance exam is conducted for providing admissions to various diploma courses in pharmacy, engineering, and other fields. By qualifying for this entrance exam, students will be able to take admitted to various government and private polytechnic institutes in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

This entrance exam is conducted once a year through offline mode. The duration of this exam is mainly three hours and its medium is English and Hindi languages. The paper will consist of a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. According to is marking scheme, there is a provision for negative marking.

One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer and four marks will be awarded for each right answer. Questions will be asked from subjects like English, physics, mathematics, and chemistry. To appear for the HP PAT entrance exam it is necessary for the students to fulfill certain eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

  • Candidates will need to qualify for the 10th or any equivalent exam conducted by HPBOSE- Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 35% aggregate in class 10th
  • Candidates should have passed 10th with science, mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam or awaiting its results are also eligible to apply.
ASSAM PAT
ASSAM PAT- Assam Polytechnic Admission Test

ASSAM PAT is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Assam. This entrance exam is conducted once a year for offering admissions to the polytechnic diploma courses. By qualifying for this entrance exam, students will be able to take admissions in various government and private polytechnic colleges/universities in the state of Assam.

The entrance exam is conducted through offline mode and its medium I English language. The duration of the exam is mainly 2 hours. The paper will consist of a total of 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks and as per its marking scheme no negative marking is done and 1 mark is awarded to each correct answer.

The questions will be asked from subjects like English, science, mathematics, and general awareness. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria that are to be fulfilled by the candidates to appear for this entrance exam.

  • Candidates should have qualified HSLC or any equivalent exam in a single sitting with subjects like mathematics and science and with a minimum of 40% aggregate.
  • A relaxation of 5% will be provided to SC category candidates and a 7% relaxation is provided to the ST category candidates.

JEXPO- Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal

It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development. This entrance exam is conducted once a year through offline mode. The duration of this exam is mainly 2 hours and it is conducted in English and Bengali languages.

By qualifying for this entrance exam, students can easily get enrolled in various polytechnics or diplomas in engineering government and private colleges in the state of West Bengal. As per its marking scheme, no negative marking is done and one mark will be allotted to each correct answer.

The paper will contain a total of 100 questions from subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. To appear for this entrance exam, students will also need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

  • Candidates should be of Indian nationality
  • Candidates must have completed 10th from a recognized board with subjects like English, Physical Science, and Mathematics and with a minimum of 35% aggregate.

JEE CUP– Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh

It is conducted by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh.   • Candidates should have attained an age of a minimum of 14 years.

Direct Admissions
