Pharmacy Entrance Exam

Pharmacy Entrance Exam: GPAT- Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test

GPAT- Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted for students who aim to seek admission to the M.Pharm course. This entrance exam is conducted and managed by NTA- National Testing Agency every year.

On the basis of the scores, obtain in this entrance exam students become eligible for the admission process through over 800 colleges that have participated in GPAT. This entrance exam is conducted at different exam centers across the nation. The scores obtained in the GPAT entrance exam are considered valid for three years.

GPAT is a CBT- Computer Based Entrance Test with a duration of three hours. The paper will consist of Multiple-choice questions with a total of 500 marks. There will be approximately 125 questions in which 4 marks will be allotted to each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

Pharmacy Entrance Exam

Pharmacy Entrance Exam: NIPER JEE- National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam

NIPER JEE- National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by NIPER- National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. This entrance exam is conducted for seeking admission to the pharmacy courses such as MS (Pharm), M. Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm), and MBA (Pharm).

By qualifying for this entrance exam, students can seek admission to various NIPER Institutions that offer approximately 820 seats across all its branches. It is necessary for the students to qualify for the entrance exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate. A relaxation of 5% is provided to the reserved category candidates. For the physically handicapped students, 10% relaxation is provided.

Candidates can fill out the NIPER JEE application form online mode by visiting its official website. The duration of this entrance exam will be two hours. The paper will be MCQ type and it will consist of a total of 200 marks. Each right answer will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Pharmacy Entrance Exam: UKSEE- Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam

UKSEE- Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted by The Uttarakhand Technical University. This entrance exam is conducted for seeking admissions to the courses like B.Pharm, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), M.C.A, etc. which are offered at various private, self-finance, and government colleges, and universities in Uttarakhand.

For appearing in this entrance exam students will need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. For the B.Pharm course, students will need to pursue 10th and 12th from a recognized board and with subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, or biology. This entrance exam is mainly conducted through offline mode. The paper will consist of objective-type questions and its duration will be 2 hours.

Pharmacy Entrance Exam: UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test)

UPCET- Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by NTA- National Testing Agency. This entrance exam is conducted for admission to various under-graduation and post-graduation courses which are offered in diverse disciplines such as Engineering, CSIT, Management, Pharmacy, and more.

From the academic year 2022-2023, the UPCET entrance exam has been replaced by the other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, NATA, and CUET for admissions to the various colleges affiliated with MMMUT, AKTU, and other state-level universities in Uttar Pradesh.

The mode of this entrance exam is online. The duration of this entrance exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes for slot 1 and 3 hours and 45 minutes for slot 2. AP ECET- Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test

AP ECET- Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JNT University Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE- A P State Council of Higher Education. This entrance exam is also commonly known as AP EAMCET B.Pharm. It is mainly conducted for admissions to the under graduation courses like B.Pharm. AP ECET is conducted once a year through online mode.

Its paper consists of mainly 200 MCQ-type questions. To appear for the AP ECET entrance exam, students will need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria such as the candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and they must have pursued a diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from a recognized board or they must have pursued a B.Sc. degree with mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate from a recognized university.

A relaxation of 5% is provided to the reserved category candidates. The eligible candidates can fill out the application form on the official portal of AP ECET. While filling out the application form, students will need to pay the required application fee and upload the necessary documents. The entrance exam will be conducted over 14 districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

RPET PHARMACY- Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test Pharmacy

RPET PHARMACY- Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test Pharmacy is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by the Board of Technical Education. This entrance exam is conducted for admission to the B.Pharm course. For appearing in this entrance exam students will need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. They will need to pursue 10th and 12th from a recognized board and with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

Other than the academic qualification, the eligibility criteria also consist of the medical fitness of the candidate, the age of the candidate, and some other requirements. The candidate who fulfills the complete eligibility criteria will be considered eligible to apply for the RPET PHARMACY entrance exam. There are various exam centers for the RPET PHARMACY entrance exam within the state of Rajasthan. The duration of this entrance exam is mainly three hours. There will be no negative marking and each question will contain 1 mark (A total of 120 marks). The paper will consist of 3 sections and each consists of 40 marks.
