The language comprehension section of MAT consists of topics related to English grammar and verbal ability. It also contains reading comprehension passages which are mainly easy in nature.

Tips for preparing language comprehension section

Some of the essential tips and tricks are mentioned below:

English grammar

Mostly all the English grammar questions are based on vocabulary, active and passive voice, sentence correction, punctuation, verbs, idioms, clauses, etc. By having a good command of English grammar, candidates can easily attempt this section of the MAT 2022 entrance exam.

Verbal Abilities

Candidates can easily solve the verbal ability questions by practicing the sample paper. AS there is no formula to understand or learn this topic, you will need to attempt the same paper or practice paper as you can. Practicing the sample papers or previous question papers is the best way to prepare for this section.

MAT Preparation for Mathematic section:

In this Section, there will be 40 questions and you should not give yourself 40 minutes to solve this section. For students who are not good at mathematics or don’t like mathematics calculations, this section can be a tough one for them.

As there is a negative marking for the wrong answers, we advised those candidates (not good in mathematics) to try to score well in other sections and attempt this section to qualify only, this will help them in gaining a quite good score.

Calculation: Candidates should attempt the practice papers as much as they can, this will help them to speed up their calculation skills. The topic like mean, median, mode, range, P&L, Average, and mensuration are easy to solve, so you should try to solve practice papers and the result is you will not take more time to solve the questions on the day of your exam.

Maths fundamentals and Theorems:

As we mentioned above, the cracking the Numerical Ability section of the MAT exam 2022 is all about having a great command of the concepts and theorems of Mathematics.

The plus point to the students who don’t like this subject or don’t study Mathematics at a higher level can also score well in this section. Therefore, you should start by studying each topic every day of this section. Prepare notes on formulae and fundamentals, try to attempt related questions as you can and you will get a good score in this section.

Preparation Tips for Indian and Global Environment

This section in the MAT exam is the least time section because there is no calculation and formulas, and critical thinking ability to do this. You can score a good score in this section by spending a short time as compared to other sections.

The motive of this section (Indian and Global Environment) is to assess the general awareness ability of the candidates. In this section, you will get straightforward questions related to the below-given topics…….
