KCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

To fill KCET 2023 Application form, all the aspirants will need to fulfil the below-given eligibility criteria defined by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

Nationality: To apply for the KCET 2023, candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age: There is no age limit for KCET 2023 prescribed by the authority.

Minimum Qualification: As the courses offered through KCET, it is mandatory for all the aspirants that they must be completed their 10+2 or its equivalent for UG courses and graduation or its equivalent to apply for PG courses.

Final Year students: Candidates who are awaiting final year results are also eligible to apply for KCET 2023 by providing their suitability proof at the time of admission.

Marks Required

  • For Unreserved General Category Applicants: Should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • For Reserved Category Applicants: Must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

Course-wise Eligibility Criteria

For B.Arch

Candidates must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or passed the 10+2 Diploma exam with Maths as a compulsory subject.

Candidates who wish to take admission in B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) are required to qualify for the NATA.

For B.Tech and B.E.

Candidate must have passed 12th standard with a minimum 45% in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/Electronics and Computer. For reserved category candidates, only 40% marks are required and English must be studied as a compulsory subject.

B.Pharma

B.pharma aspirants should have passed 2nd PUC along with a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects

Or

The candidate should have passed a diploma in Pharmacy course from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate.

Naturopathy and Yoga

Candidate should have passed 2nd PUC with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects (40% marks required for Reserved Category Candidates).

For Farm Science Courses such as B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Technology, Community Science, Forestry, Agriculture Engineering, D.Tech, Fisheries, Food Technology, Agri-Business Management

Candidates who wish to apply for one of the above courses should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th standard with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology subjects.
