IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2023

To fill IPU CET application form, an aspirant needs to fulfil the below-cited eligibility criteria defined by GGSIPU.

• Nationality: To apply for the IPU CET 2023, candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Minimum Academic Qualification for UG Course: It is mandatory for IPU CET aspirants that they must have passed their 12th standard examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Minimum Academic Qualification for PG course: Applicants must have passed their Graduation from a recognized university.
• Minimum Marks for UG Courses: Applicants must have at least 55% marks in aggregate to apply for the IPU CET exam.
• Age: Candidates’ age must be at least 18 years old and the upper age limit is 21 years for UG courses (B.Tech). For M.tech, candidates must be at least 21 years old and the upper age limit is 35 years. And no age limit is prescribed by the IPU CET authority for MBA courses.
• Final Year Students: If you are appearing for the final year examination, you are eligible to apply for the exam but provided you will have to submit your scores to the respective Institution at the time of your admission.

Course-wise Eligibility for applying to Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test

B.tech: Candidates must have passed class 12th or pursued class 12^th or its equivalent. They must have 55% marks in aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory subjects. The candidates are also required to pass the English subject positively.

B.Tech (LE): Those candidates who are planning for B.Tech (LE) must hold a 3-year diploma or B.Sc degree with Mathematics as the main subject. Candidates who achieved at least 60% marks can apply.

BCA: For BCA, candidates must pass class 12th with English and Maths or Computer Science/ Informatics Practice/ Computer Applications/ Multimedia & Web Technology/ Web Application Data with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or the candidate must be having a diploma in Engineering with a least 50% marks can apply, or a candidate having a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and 12th class with subjects like English and Maths eligible to apply.

LL.B: For participating in the Law course, the candidates must have completed class XII from a recognized board by availing a least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates must have learnt English as a compulsory subject.

BBA: For participating in the BBA course, the candidate must have done their 12th or equivalent examination with English as the main subject and must have attained at least 50% marks.

MBA & Allied Programs: Candidates must have achieved a degree of graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

MCA: Candidates must have a graduate degree in engineering degree or must have done a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) by attaining at least 50% aggregate marks.

LL.M: While applying for the LLM course, Candidates must ensure for completing the LLB from some BCI-recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Go to the official website of the GGSIPU IPU CET exam i.e. www.ipu.ac.in.
