IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria 2023

To fill IIT JAM application form, a candidate needs to fulfil the below-provided eligibility criteria defined by IIT Guwahati.

Nationality: To apply for the IIT JAM 2023, candidates must be Indian citizens. Foreign nationals can also apply for IIT JAM, however, they will need to satisfy all the rules and regulations of the Admitting Institute(s).

Age: There are no upper and lower age limit criteria to appear for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters 2023.

Graduation: It is mandatory for IIT JAM aspirants that they must have a 3 years bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or its equivalent in any discipline.

Minimum Marks:

• A candidate who belongs to the General/OBC-NCL category or Foreign Nationals category must have a minimum of 55% marks in his/her bachelor’s degree course.
• A candidate who belongs to the SC/ST and PwD category must have at least 50% marks in graduation.
• The proportion or share of marks in percentage will be adjusted by stating colleges for those candidates having CGPA/ Letter Grades.

Step 2: Fill in the Application Form

• Once the registration will be done for IIT JAM 2023, your next step is to fill in the application form.
• Now, you will have to log in with the enrollment ID and password in order to fill in the other individual facts and information.
• Then will need to enter your educational details and Work Experience Details if have.
• Then you will need to select the course and three exam centre preferences.
• Then select 2 test centre cities for the exam.

IIT JAM Counselling/Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters Counselling

IIT JAM counselling process is expected to start from April 11, 2023. Candidates will who get their names in the IIT JAM 2023 merit list will be able to fill the admission forms through online mode.
