CTET Notification 2022

The official notification for the CTET exam has been released by the authority on its official website. The notification was released by the CBSE on October 31, 2022. As per the official notification, the application for the CTET exam is completely online and candidates can apply for the exam through its official website. The deadline to apply for the exam is November 24, 2022.

Candidates can also apply with Sarkariresult.com. The exam is conducted from December 2022- January 2023. CTET Full form

The full form of the CTET is Central Teacher Eligibility Test or we can say that CTET is an abbreviation of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The exam is conducted twice a year. It is a national-level exam, conducted to provide opportunities to those willing to make theirs in teaching sectors.

About CTET 2022

Central Teacher Eligibility Test for a teaching exam conducted twice a year.  The exam is mainly for those students who aspire to make their careers in the teaching sector. This year, the authority released the official notification for CTET 2022 on October 31 and candidates have time to fill up the application form for the same till November 24, 2022.

The exam is conducted from December 2022- January 2023. CTET exam is most probably similar to the UPTET or various state-TET exams.  The exam is conducted under the control of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) twice a year.

CTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023

The syllabus for the CTET Exam has been released by the authority on the official website of the CTET exam. Candidates can check the complete syllabus by visiting the official website. As per the CTET syllabus 2022, the exam will be completed in two papers.

Paper 1 is basically for Classes 1 to 5 and the second paper will be for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates are free to apply for these both papers and can also appear for individual papers. The syllabus for the exam is available in both Hindi and English languages. The questions to be asked in the paper will be related to the NCERT books.

For CTET Paper 1, the question will be asked from the NCERT Books of Classes 1 to 5 and for CTET Paper 2, candidates will find the questions from the NCERT books of Classes 6 to 8. Having details and prior knowledge about the CTET exam syllabus will provide the aspirant with an edge over other competitors. Both papers will have multiple-choice questions and candidates will have 2.5 hours for each paper.

CTET Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates who are prepared to appear for the CTET 2023 must understand the complete exam pattern and strategy of the CTET paper. Although the exam is not as tough as the other competitive exam in India whereas you must be required to be prepared for it, otherwise, you would not be able to crack the exam.

CTET 2023 exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions and there will be a total of 2 papers. Candidates who are preparing for only Junior Classes can fill out the application form for only CTET paper 1 whereas candidates who wish to be teachers for classes 6 to 8 are needed to appear for CTET Paper 2.

Candidates are also free to apply for both CTET Papers. Those who wish to be certified teachers for Classes 1 to 8 are needed to qualify for both CTET exams. CTET exam will important details of the exam and candidates must understand the same.

What is very new in the CTET Exam?

The aspirants who are preparing for the CTET- CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST exam must be acquainted with the updated exam pattern and new changes in the CTET Exam Pattern. This year in 2022, the exam will be administered online for the first time in this lifecycle.

As per the CTET Pattern, there is no limitation to choosing any papers, and all the eligible candidates can appear for both papers. In Child Development and Pedagogy section, candidates will have to face a total of 30 questions. In this section, three main topics are to be asked namely Child Development (Primary School), the Concept of Comprehensive Education and Understanding Children with Special Needs, and Learning & Pedagogy.

CTET Paper 2 Syllabus

There are 4 sections in CTET Paper 2, candidates are advised to attempt all the sections to score well in the CTET exam. The four sections that will be asked in the CTET Paper 2 are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 and Language 2, and one Optional Subject (Maths-Science or Social Studies).
