BCECE 2022 Overview

BCECE 2022 or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam is conducted every year for admission to various courses in the top universities or institutions of Bihar State. The exam is conducted for admission to B.Phrama, Agriculture, and para-medical Courses (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) offered at Colleges in Bihar. However, the entrance exam BCECE is also known as BCEBEB now offers admission to engineering courses on the basis of the JEE Main scores and medical courses on the basis of NEET scores.        

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam is known as one of the highest competitive entrance exams in Bihar state. This exam is appeared by around 25K with a single aim to get admission to the top institutions of the state. A Quick Glance at the BCECE 2022

  • BCECE is a State level entrance exam that is conducted in Bihar State in order to offer admission to the undergraduate courses. 
  • The exam is conducted in almost all of the districts of Bihar.
  • It is a highly competitive exam in Bihar that is appeared by the over 25K students every year.
  • Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. 
  • It is an offline/ pen-paper test which is conducted once a year. 
  • The exam BCECE is conducted in two languages i.e. English and Hindi. 
  • Although it is just a state-level exam it is considered one of the highly competitive exams in the country.
  • The exam duration for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination will be 1.5 hours for each subject.

  • The last date to fill in the BCECE 2022 application form has been extended by the authority now you can apply till June 20, 2022. 
  • The Exam or BCECE 2022 will be conducted in offline mode on July 24 and July 25, 2022.
  • BCECE 2022 exam will consist of three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and you will be provided 1 hour 30 minutes to attempt each section.
  • Candidates are also allowed to attempt all four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology but for this, you must have studied these subjects in your class 11 and class 12.  
  • The last date to fill in the BCECE 2022 is June 20, 2022, and the notification for BCECE 2022 was released by the authority on May 8, 2022.  
  • The Admit Card for the BCECE 2022 will be available on the official website of BCECE 2-3 weeks prior to the entrance exam.     
  • Candidates should check the previous year’s question papers to thoroughly understand the complete exam papers.

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Program

Age Limit:  There is no age limit for applying to the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022.  

Educational Qualification: For applying to BCECE 2022, candidates must have passed 10+2 or a diploma in the required stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and those candidates who are from the reserved category must have a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.   

Or

Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) with a minimum of 45% marks aggregate and also passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects are also eligible to apply for BCECE 2022. 

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Program

Age Limit: To apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022, candidates must be completed 18 years of age as of December 31, 2022.     

Educational Qualification: To apply for the BCECE for Pharmacy Course you must have completed the below qualifications…..

  • Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or a 2-year diploma course in Pharmacy.   
  • Aspirants who are studying in the second year of diploma course in Pharmacy are also eligible to apply for BCECE 2022.

Age Limit: To apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022, candidates must be completed 18 years of age as of December 31, 2022.

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or 2-years of diploma in Medical course.

BCECE 2022 Registration 

BCECE registration will be done only online mode, candidates can apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination by visiting the Official website of the exam. The authority has released the official notification for the BCECE 2022, the registration process for the exam will be completed in 4-5 steps. The first step to apply for the BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is to register.

Step 4: Fill in the Education Details

Exam Mode: Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is an Offline-pen paper test that is conducted for admission to Paramedical, Engineering, and pharmacy courses.

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 min or 90 minutes for each section and the total duration for the exam is 4 hours 30 minutes.
