BCECE 2022 Overview

BCECE 2022 or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam is conducted every year for admission to various courses in the top universities or institutions of Bihar State. The exam is conducted for admission to B.Phrama, Agriculture, and para-medical Courses (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) offered at Colleges in Bihar. However, the entrance exam BCECE is also known as BCEBEB now offers admission to engineering courses on the basis of the JEE Main scores and medical courses on the basis of NEET scores.        

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam is known as one of the highest competitive entrance exams in Bihar state. This exam is appeared by around 25K with a single aim to get admission to the top institutions of the state. A Quick Glance at the BCECE 2022

• BCECE is a State level entrance exam that is conducted in Bihar State in order to offer admission to the undergraduate courses. 
• The exam is conducted in almost all of the districts of Bihar.
• It is a highly competitive exam in Bihar that is appeared by the over 25K students every year.
• Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. 
• It is an offline/ pen-paper test which is conducted once a year. 
• The exam BCECE is conducted in two languages i.e. English and Hindi. 
• Although it is just a state-level exam it is considered one of the highly competitive exams in the country.
• The exam duration for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination will be 1.5 hours for each subject.

• BCECE 2022 exam will consist of three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and you will be provided 1 hour 30 minutes to attempt each section.

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Program

Age Limit:  There is no age limit for applying to the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022.  

Educational Qualification: For applying to BCECE 2022, candidates must have passed 10+2 or a diploma in the required stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and those candidates who are from the reserved category must have a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.   

Or

Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) with a minimum of 45% marks aggregate and also passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects are also eligible to apply for BCECE 2022. 

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Program

Age Limit: To apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022, candidates must be completed 18 years of age as of December 31, 2022.     

Educational Qualification: To apply for the BCECE for Pharmacy Course you must have completed the below qualifications…..

• Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or a 2-year diploma course in Pharmacy.   
• Aspirants who are studying in the second year of diploma course in Pharmacy are also eligible to apply for BCECE 2022.  

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Para Medical

Age Limit: To apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 or BCECE 2022, candidates must be completed 18 years of age as of December 31, 2022.     

Educational Qualification: To apply for the BCECE for Pharmacy Course you must have completed the below qualifications…..

BCECE 2022 Registration 

BCECE registration will be done only online mode, candidates can apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination by visiting the Official website of the exam. The authority has released the official notification for the BCECE 2022, the registration process for the exam will be completed in 4-5 steps. The first step to apply for the BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is to register.

Exam Mode: Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is an Offline-pen paper test that is conducted for admission to Paramedical, Engineering, and pharmacy courses.

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 min or 90 minutes for each section and the total duration for the exam is 4 hours 30 minutes.

• You should double-check to print at least 2 copies of the BCECE Admit Card 2022 in colour or black and white on size of A4 size paper.    
• You should reach the test or exam centre at least an hour or 1.30 hours before the commencement of the BCECE 2022 exam.     
• Do not forget to carry your Admit Card along with the other documents such as your ID proof and 2 authorized photograph should be the same as the ones uploaded in the BCECE 2022 application form.   
• Do not carry any of these things at the BCECE 2022 exam centre like a calculator, mobile phone, iPad etc.   
• Do not carry any extra bag or luggage.

Candidates who qualify the BCECE 2022, will be eligible to appear for in the counselling process of BCECE. Candidates will be allotted to seats in the Govt., semi Govt. and Private funded Colleges and Universities in their desired courses. To appear for counselling candidates will need to register for Counselling by visiting the official website. Before registering for the BCECE 2022 Counselling, you must keep the following points in mind. 

• You are required to register for counselling just after the result declaration of BCECE 2022. 
• The process of counselling after BCECE 2022 will be online and you will have to fill in your choices and lock the seats before the last date or deadline.

Step 1: Registration

• You must possess the same at the specified BCECE Counselling Centre for Handwriting verification whenever it is required.   
• It is required to carry your provisional seat allotment letter with you during all processes of counselling to ensure admission and allotment of the desired seat for your chosen course.          

Step 4: Handwriting Verification

Your handwriting will be matched and verified with the text written on your OMR sheets. This is a constant and unchanging process of BCECE 2022 counselling that involves the collection of handwriting specimens of the candidates. Handwriting verification is done to ensure the authenticity of the candidate’s allotment.      

Step 5: Seat Allotment

After completion of the verification process for handwriting, candidates can log in to the official website to ensure their seat allotment. When you will visit the official website there will be a link-activated namely Final Seat Allotment. 

Aspirants can download their final seat allotment letter that they have at the time of final counselling.  You must report to the specified venue as mentioned in your provisional Allotment of seat letter and will be required to pay the application fee along with the document verification. 

Step 6: Document Verification

This is the last and final step for BCECE 2022 Counselling. Candidates who have downloaded their final allotment letter will need to verify the documents and need to pay the application fee to the allotted college. If a candidate is unable to present or produce any required document then his/her allotment can be cancelled.
